As with any product/service there is 3 main areas to consider when choosing a provider... #1 Price - Today's economy dictates that most people/companies have a limited budget. It is important that prices be both affordable and competitive.#2 Quality - Some providers are able to underbid other providers, but, they do so by providing lesser quality products/services. #3 Customer Service - A good product/service at a
good price must be accompanied by good customer service. In my opinion this is the most important area to
consider when choosing a provider.

How does Energized Hosting rate under that criteria? Let me put it this way...#1 We're not broke, #2 - Our website has never been down, #3 - We have always received quick & friendly support even when we have been a little picky.

I have tried many web hosting companies in the past 4 years looking for one that not only supplied the necessary package I was looking for but also provided backup in the event that I encountered
a situation that was beyond my control.

Energized Hosting have delivered on their promise every time, they even added a particular module to
the server that I required to run one of my cgi scripts, this is unheard of with my previous hosts.

I give them 10 out of 10 for their service and support, and to my knowledge I have not experienced any
downtime on any of my domains.

Support is right there on the spot to answer any question and I have even gotten support from them at 3 am Live a few times already.

I just wanted to put my 2 cents in towards EH.

I signed up the first of this month, and have had no problems thus far! I signed up during a special for personalized name servers. That took a couple days to setup, and I had to deal with billing about it, but I did persist, and they came through.

The support has always been there when needed, which hasn't been for down systems, but rather just common questions.

I would give a thumbs up for EH.

As best as I can tell everything is working well. I want to thank you for
doing such a superb job. I didn’t realize how poor the service I have had from my other two providers. They would have problems on a regular basis and restore from backups, and rebuild the OS, and every time they did it, there were toggles set wrong, things that didn’t work, features that were no longer there such as my
private name servers, and I’d have to go back and complain and finally they
would get it right, and this happened several times over the last 5 years.
Different defaults for PHP etc. which caused problems with my code – what a
nightmare. Last week I had enough, and that is why I am here.

Thank you so much for doing such a superb job and for communicating well and
trying to understand my notes to you and doing so well at it.

I’d like you to forward a copy of this to David. He and I talked on the
phone before I signed up. And also Victoria. I want them to know what a
great job you have done. I only hope that it will always be this way and if
so, I will be very pleased.

If I discover any problems, I’ll let you know, but so far everything seems
to be in good shape , and it seems unbelievable to have all the passwords
working, nothing missing, etc. on the first go around, and your
communication skills are better than any support I have ever had with my
other two host and that alone, is priceless..
I am struggling with a career change here, and I was scared to death to make
this transition as my future depends on my customers bringing me more
customers and I am working on a shoe string.. But you made it happen
without a hitch.

I will let you know if anyone brings any problems to my attention that I
haven’t found so far.

I have only been with your company for a few months but right from the
start it was good. Your team of support staff transferred all my web
sites from my old server to your server with no problems what so ever.
I didn't have to go through uploading all my files again! It was great!
So far I have not experienced any down time, sites are running
smoothly, and your live chat support is always there to help when I
have a question. The Cpanel X control panels make it easy to do
whatever I need to do (add email addresses, sub-domains etc..).

Freelancing as a web designer for over 6 years, my needs for a web host has not only grown, but changed along the way. I've bounced around to more hosting services than I care to remember. Everyone has their needs in mind when it comes to server features. Email, web stats, databases, storage space, bandwidth, etc. Every one of us try to get the maximum features for the price. Energized Hosting uses the C-Panel backend which is an excellent feature benefit. While server features are very important. I've discovered a few key business elements that are now a requirement before I would consider using a hosting company.

1. Tech Support contact - while support tickets are handy for the "not so immediate" needs, there are times you desperately need an immediate answer. Chat sessions are nice.... but an actual phone number is gold in the support realm. (The new thing for some hosting companies is to out-source their support team to other countries that can speak VERY basic english. So PLEASE try and contact support before you start hosting with a new company.)

2. Server Performance - Don't get trapped into the huge amounts of Bandwidth and Storage Space some hosts flaunt in their advertisements. All the bandwidth and storage space in the world won't do you any good if the server has to make 40 hops to get to the backbone of the internet. Visitors simply won't wait it out for your pages to load. Processor speeds and server performance is critical.

3. Reseller trap - Sometimes it's a hard thing to really track down, and there are always exceptions to the rules, but my personal experiences have been very poor when purchasing hosting from a company that was just reselling it to me. The host you are working with really needs to be the "owner" of the server your websites are on. When they are "reselling" the service, it adds more interference to the situation. A simple tech support submission can sometimes mean the time it takes them to read it, then submit their own support ticket to the "true" host, wait for a response, then wait for that response to be passed back to you. If that response is another question about the problem. It could take weeks to get it fixed.

4. Price - of course price is always an issue. Find that balance between needs, wants, and price it will take to get them. You CAN have it all if you look in the right places!

There are other elements I'm sure I'm forgetting at the moment. Take the time to research before you sign-on with a host. If you do, I'm sure you'll find your sites have a very common connection with mine. Energized Hosting has been my "have it all" solution!
